I'm assuming that you've only just learned of his passing. I was SHOCKED when I read it online last Friday... I even posted about it on my blog. 53 years old! As I am getting "up there" in years, I realize how young this is. Joe Strummer died earlier this year from a heart attack only a month after his 50th birthday. Neither went out in true rock star form either (face-down in own vomit). Might as well face it... our rock idols are dropping like flies! Oy vey!
