The project seems to be taking off! Fluffspangle reports a successful sausage casserole; Earthenwitch made a pizza (I mean, made the whole thing! We make pizzas all the time here at Casa Uborka, but we use a packet for the base. And don’t waste it on Bernard); and Lisa tried a little bit harder, with some fancy roast chicken.
Out of the hat over here, we have pulled occasional old favourite chicken enchiladas, spring vegetable risotto with sheep’s cheese, and completely new: Nigel’s Indian bean stew with creamy coriander onions, slightly tweaked owing to lack of fresh coriander, and omitting the chilli, of course. This was emphatically rejected by the Small Boy, who only ate the naan bread and a large portion of rice pudding.
I’ve been given a dozen eggs by a friend who has hens. I should bake something.

Oooh oooh – might I suggest chocolate ginger cake, thus? That would take care of three or four eggs, depending on how big they are.
Ooh I made her ginger chocolate cake once (or an approximation thereof); it was FAB so I second the recommendation
I appear to have upped my expectations. Care to join me?
