&lt;p&gt;I do believe that it is a big mountain to climb, but worth it. Of course, in the end, it is the consumer who decides whether or not they will buy the cheapest product and succumb to articles made in hideous circumstances and by child labor. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I believe in the certificates. But in the end, it is the consumer who must believe in them. And chose for them.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Tough call, but in the right direction.&lt;/p&gt;
