I saw a thing on TV with Sarah Beeny the other day (so it must be true) in which she said that currently available (see what I did there?) wind turbines aren’t up to much and don’t generate that much electricity, particularly if you are in a built-up area. She had an example of the type that David Cameron has famously installed on his home.
She reckons it is better to wait a few years for the technology to improve. Or, if you can’t wait, go for solar heating of your water which is comparitively cheap to install and technologically more advanced.
