8 random factettes

Relly tagged me. I used to think I was too self-important to do memes, but I notice that I generally do them anyway, so I guess I’m not. Here we are, then (rules at the end).

1. My hands are very cold, yet I feel guilty about switching on the heating for an hour in the middle of the day. The thermometer in Bernard’s bedroom says it is 15 degrees.
2. I used to be moderately competent with basic HTML, but now that Pete does everything for me, that part of my brain is as numb as my chilly fingers. The first email he ever sent me was informing me that my code for somethingorother was dodgy. At the time, I thought he was being flirtatious, but I have since found out that he regularly emails people to correct their code. Sometimes it is good to be wrong.
3. Three days a week, I cycle to Bernard’s childminder and back. I am seriously considering knitting some legwarmers for this journey.
4. I am currently listening to I Like To Move It by Reel 2 Reel. Let’s call it a random selection.
5. All my christmas presents are purchased and wrapped. Pete says that next year, we should try to achieve this by October. I am inclined to agree.
6. Here’s a very random one: I used to be a Venture Scout. That’s enough about that, then.
7. I haven’t finished travelling, but I can’t imagine travelling with a child. Start with something easy, I suppose. I really want to go to St Petersburg.
8. Every week I make a meticulous menu plan, taking account of what has been delivered in the veg box. I make new things all the time, but I still don’t feel like we have a very varied diet. I do think it’s healthy, though.
