Day seven, the journey home. We stopped off briefly at Malham Cove, in the Yorkshire Dales. Back in glacial times, this cliff was a waterfall. Can you see the pink and blue dots near the bottom of the picture? Those are climbers. Whenever I look at this cliff, I find that my brain can't help but fill in the blanks, and I visualise torrents of water pouring down from the top.

We arrived home at about 5pm, having set off over six hours earlier. My reward for having driven all the way was a very very good back rub.
